DEPARTMENT56 - Retired Original Snow Village Houses and Accessories
The Original Snow Village Collection debuted in 1976. The buildings are generally larger and more vividly colored than any of the porcelain villages. Most pieces seem to be set in earlier times, but many newer introductions are certainly contemporary in nature. Licensing agreements have resulted in buildings with such familiar names as Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Hershey's Starbucks, Harley-Davidson and Ford Motors.
